Guido has been working with glass since childhood.  He was born and raised in Bülach, Swittzerland, a little town outside of Zurich.  He was mesmorized with glass as a young boy.  His father worked for Glashütte Bülach, which made glass bottles for all types of products.

 

Guido has worked with fused glass, stained glass, and glass blowing.  He has trained with great artists, including Patty Gray, Brad Walker, and Bob Leatherbarrow, 

 

The glass art industry is growing and techniques change very quickly.  His latest favorites are crackle glass, pattern bars, and deep drops.

 

Guido currently lives in Aiken, South Carolina with Catherine and 2 cats.  He is a collector, artist, photographer, and adventurist.
